In 2025, massive floating objects - later referred to as Miracles - descended into the airspace around major cities all over the world. The Nexuses within these mysterious structures soon started granting some individuals special access to divine powers far beyond that which could be logically or scientifically understood.

Your character is now an Esper! You may now have Divine powers based on a Mythological character. Here are some examples. Feel free for meme purposes to have the same divine provider as someone else does!

The city is modern but in ruins thanks to Miramon. Modern holographic displays are a normal sight in the middle of a ruined street and shops may look like nothing was ever wrong from the inside. There are also places that are completely in ruins with no technology surviving at all.

Esper Union has a modern, well-kept headquarters. Shadow Decree's is a it worn out but not in a completely bad shape (a little wear and tear here and there, thanks to experiments and fights going on).
